The Chronicle Exchange

Where Fate Trades in Decades, Not Days

"I perceive the energies of the universe flowing like a ticker tape, weaving the complex algorithm of your destiny."

MERCURGY

/mər-ˈkər-jē/ — from Mercury, god of commerce + -urgy, working

The forbidden art of fate-trading was born in the vaults beneath Gringotts. Goblin curse-breakers, obsessed with quantifying everything, noticed uncanny patterns: the rise and fall of wizard lifespans mirrored the candlestick ledgers of their gold reserves.

They called it the Chronicle Exchange—treating destiny itself as a market where souls trade decades of triumph against seasons of tribulation.
